This is my favourite illustration that I produced. I designed this to show off my illustration skills for my University portfolio. I admit it was a piece of work that had no really project attached to it just a mood bored of silver items and Japanese fashion to inspire me. I love the quality of the piece concidering that it was very rushed. the piece is mixed media, I have used Oil piant, pen and sewing machine stitch over the top.
This was a small Presentation project where I looked at the work of Alexander McQueen and the colour blue. From this I crated a sample of fabric which had come from these influences. I then used this fabric to produce some 1960's style dresses and add the sample onto the dress in CAD.I decided to work more in CAD to creates flats for each of the dresses. It worked really well and CAD makes my work sharper (as I tend to draw very sketchy) and also looks more profession.
I like to draw Illustrastions then work into them on CAD, I would like to develop this further throughout this year and learn new skills on the CAD suites.
